I’ve spent my career at the intersection of storytelling and craft – as a filmmaker, writer, and creative professional with roots in film studies, sound, lighting, and over a decade in digital marketing.
My first short screened at Raindance Film Festival in 2012, and since then I’ve directed six short films alongside commercial and informational work for clients including BT and the NHS.
As a writer of fiction, my first novella was published when I was 21.
I eventually made the leap to feature films, with my debut Remi Milligan: Lost Director – a mockumentary about an underground filmmaker who vanished in 2006. It won Best Experimental Feature at the BIFA-qualifying Ramsgate International Film Festival, and a string of further awards across the UK, US, and Italy. Critics called it “truly brilliant” and “a shining example of how mockumentaries should work.” Now streaming worldwide on several platforms including Prime Video, and available on Blu-ray via BayView Entertainment.
I run my own film production company – LodatoStudios – and am repped by Enorama Talent Agency.
